EPF Secretary General Nicola Bedlington participated in an international conference on the 17th of May in Athens discussing challenges and opportunities for the healthcare system in Greece.

 

The 6th edition of the ‘Future of Healthcare in Greece’ conference, gathered high level representatives from WHO, OECD, World Bank, EIB together with government and stakeholders’ representatives debated on the ongoing challenges impacting the Greek healthcare system, namely significant reduction in the healthcare budget and migration.

Invited as a guest speaker for the session on ‘Healthcare systems challenges’, Nicola presented EPF’s vision on access and the central role patients and patient organisations can play in addressing barriers to access to healthcare.
